Teaching Artist (Violin and Viola)
Amanda Romani is a native of Phoenix, Arizona where she has performed a variety of solo, chamber, and orchestral music in various groups and at multiple venues. Since beginning classical training at a young age, Ms. Romani has broadened her musical genres and frequently performs genres including classical, pop, jazz, country, and tango. Ms. Romani has also attended a variety of music festivals including Madeline Island Summer Festival in Wisconsin and Red Rocks Music Festival in Arizona. Along with the festivals, Ms. Romani has also participated in numerous solo and quartet master classes including classes with Mark Steinberg of the Brentano String Quartet, the Shanghai Quartet, and the Ariana String Quartet. In addition to performing, Ms. Romani is also an excellent instructor and has been teaching violin, viola, and beginning piano privately and in groups since 2014. Ms. Romani currently holds a Bachelors degree with highest honors in violin performance at Arizona State University, where she also continues her graduate studies at Arizona State in violin performance where she studies with Dr. Jonathan Swartz.
