Scotty Spenner started playing guitar at ten years old and was performing in clubs by the time he was nineteen. He began teaching guitar lessons at a small music store at sixteen and has taught ever since. He has over thirty years of teaching experience.

He studied music at the University Of South Dakota for four years and has performed at clubs, concerts and festival throughout the United States

Scotty has taught in the Phoenix metropolitan area since 1997 and teaches guitar, mandolin and ukulele to students of all ages and skill levels. Scotty has extensive teaching and performance experience in Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, Folk and Ragtime styles.

Scotty was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall Of Fame in 2009 and into the Heritage Foundation Blues Hall Of Fame in 2012. He performs in the Phoenix metro area weekly with the Irish Rock/Celtic Punk band the Saints Of Eirinn and with his blues band True Flavor Blues.
