Admin Assistant (programs)

SOUNDS Academy seeks a dynamic, motivated and experienced individual to take on the new position of Admin Assistant (Programs). The Admin Assistant (Programs) will be responsible for the operational success of SOUNDS, ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation. In this newly established role, the Admin Assistant (Programs) will manage a growing staff and community. The Admin Assistant (Programs) will be a key external face of SOUNDS Academy in the community.

As the Admin Assistant (Programs) for SOUNDS Academy, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Work the director to carry out the SOUNDS Academy mission in order to continuously improve student achievements.
  • Communicate with empathy and understanding in effectively responding to the individual needs of students and families.
  • Registration and Instrument data entry.
  • Registering and scheduling students for classes.
  • Communicate effectively and constructively with teachers, principals, and other key members of SOUNDS Academy programs
  • Work independently and without supervision while completing work in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Create and maintain a calendar for sounds academy.
  • Contacting/Following Up with schools in regard to Programs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BA, MA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of organizational and team-building experience.
  • Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group.
  • Recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control and performance.
  • Experience in the Phoenix Metro Area and/or the arts preferred.

 

Admin Assistant (Development)

SOUNDS Academy seeks a dynamic, motivated and experienced individual to take on the new position of Admin Assistant (Development). The Admin Assistant (Development) will be responsible for designing, directing and leading the execution and strategy of the organization’s development operations. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering measurable results in the fields of annual fundraising, major gift development, and campaign and reporting design.

As the Admin Assistant (Development) for SOUNDS Academy, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Implement and manage fundraising operations including donor-tracking systems, data management, meeting preparation, gift processing and post-gift donor management.
  • Research, identification and successful cultivation of major gift prospects.
  • Design, implement and manage innovative annual campaigns to be disseminated across multiple platforms. (mail, phone, online, events etc.)
  • Leverage SOUNDS Academy’s existing database of donors and incorporate them into annual campaigns.
  • Monitor grant and grant report deadlines to ensure organization compliance with both.
  • Interacting with donors on behalf of SOUNDS Academy.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in the fields of Business, Financing, Accounting, Communications, or related fields required. MA or MS and higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in successful non-profit fundraising.
  • Proven track record and achievement in designing and executing annual campaigns.
  • Proven track record and achievement in cultivation of major gifts from individuals and organizations.
  • Experience planning and executing fundraising events.
  • Experience in the Phoenix Metro Area and/or the arts preferred.
