On September 17th, we will host Sounds of Seamus: A Charity Event for Music Education at Seamus McCaffrey’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in downtown Phoenix! Come listen to the music of Joanna Joy, The Sink or Swim, Dirty Sunset, and Jane N’ The Jungle.

We will be raffling prizes that include certificates to Spa’s, Hotels, Restaurants, and A WEEKEND IN PUERTO PENASCO, MEXICO!

SOUNDS Academy is a non-profit music education organization that teaches, mentors, and provides musical experiences and opportunities for underserved youth. Students receive individual lessons, group classes, and participate in public performances on instruments such as the violin, viola, cello, and bass. Instruments are provided to those who cannot afford one. In SOUNDS Academy students learn the values of creativity, leadership, perseverance, resilience, and teamwork through music education. We teach these values in our School Programs for lower income schools, our Strings Program, and our College-Prep Program. Students also interact with professional musicians in our Musical Access program.

Our mission is to teach, mentor, and provide musical experiences and opportunities to underserved youth. The vision of SOUNDS Academy is to provide music education opportunities to a wide variety of children while removing any barriers that children may have in receiving quality music education. SOUNDS Academy is a local non-profit that works with students all over the valley, expanding from Mesa to Avondale.
