Michael Ferraro

Michael Ferraro

Michael is a community musician and educator who has been teaching since 2011. He holds a bachelor of science in communication and a master of music in music education from Arizona State University. Michael began playing guitar when he was 14, and has studied and performed many styles including pop, blues, rock, folk, jazz, classical, and Brazilian. In addition to playing guitar, he has explored forms of beat-making and music production using Ableton Live and other digital media.

Michael is also currently an adjunct faculty member at Paradise Valley Community College, where he teaches lessons and classes in rock history and songwriting.  In addition to teaching classes, he facilitates a variety of community music outreach activities through the college. Michael loves working with a variety of students, and having the opportunity to see their musical and personal growth.
