Deja Wilson

Teaching Artist (Violin)

The Polish born violinist, Dagmara “Daga” Suchon, began her violin studies with her father, Stanislaw Suchon, the concertmaster of Poznan Philharmonic. Under the guidance of Prof. Michal Grabarczyk, she graduated cum laude from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan, Poland.

Upon graduation Daga lived in Germany, where as a pop musician she joined her sister Joanna in an electric violin duo “Space Violins”.

Deja Wilson is a cellist born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Starting cello at 10 years old, she quickly fell in love with music. With an unwavering commitment to the art form, Deja strives to bring diversity to classical music on and off stage. Deja’s goal is to use music to help heal the mind and body.
Deja graduated high school at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy, and honed her craft at University of Arizona, where she studied cello under Dr. Theodore Buchholz. Deja now teaches cello, and gigs around the Phoenix metroplex.
Not just a performer, Deja has always loved to volunteer at different symphonies such as Irving, Tucson, and Dallas Symphony Orchestras in her free time. She also loves to hike (preferable during the cooler months) and see the gorgeous Arizona scenery!
