On September 4th, we will once again be hosting Sounds of Seamus: A Charity Event for Music Education!
The wonderful team at Seamus McCaffrey’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in downtown Phoenix will be hosting our birthday bash as we celebrate our 8th ANNIVERSARY:
- Fantastic food and drinks by our friends at Seamus McCaffrey’s
- Great music from 3 local bands: Chrome Rhino, Daphne and the Glitches, and The Dickersons
- Limited Edition T- Shirts to commemorate us spreading music through the Phoenix area for 8 years
- Wristbands benefitting SOUNDS Academy that get you Happy Hour pricing ALL NIGHT LONG
- Raffle prizes from local businesses to benefit children’s music education

The Bands

100% of the proceeds raised will be used to benefit SOUNDS Academy Programs.
SOUNDS Academy is a non-profit music education organization that teaches, mentors, and provides musical experiences and opportunities for underserved youth. Students receive individual lessons, group classes, and participate in public performances on instruments such as the violin, viola, cello, and bass. Instruments are provided to those who cannot afford one. In SOUNDS Academy students learn the values of creativity, leadership, perseverance, resilience, and teamwork through music education. We teach these values in our School Programs for lower income schools, our Strings Program, and our College-Prep Program. Students also interact with professional musicians in our Musical Access program.
Our mission is to teach, mentor, and provide musical experiences and opportunities to underserved youth. The vision of SOUNDS Academy is to provide music education opportunities to a wide variety of children while removing any barriers that children may have in receiving quality music education. SOUNDS Academy is a local non-profit that works with students all over the valley, expanding from Mesa to Avondale.
