The SOUNDS Academy Masterclass Experience: Part Two!✨

Professional Musicians. Transformative Access. 

The SOUNDS Academy Masterclass Experience is officially in motion, and the energy from our first experience is still resonating! After an impactful opening Masterclass that brought students, families, and professional musicians together in a powerful learning environment, we’re excited to continue the journey with our second Masterclass! 

Within this series, each Masterclass adds new layers of empowerment, perseverance, and leadership as students step into dynamic musical spaces. With every experience, students are challenged to perform, listen, collaborate, and grow, gaining insight not only into their journey as young musicians but into what it means to lead with discipline and creativity.

Now, the series moves forward with our next Masterclass in partnership with The Phoenix Symphony, offering students the opportunity to learn within one of the region’s most respected musical institutions. This next experience invites our students to deepen their craft and continue shaping the foundation for their future as musicians and leaders!

This upcoming session will take place on Saturday, February 28, from 6:00-7:00 PM (Stage Doors open at 5:30 pm) at The Phoenix Symphony, offering students another unique opportunity to engage in a professional, classroom-style masterclass setting!

During this Masterclass, SOUNDS Academy students will perform for professional musicians and receive hands-on, face-to-face feedback designed to refine their musical skills while strengthening confidence, resilience, and leadership. Students will perform alongside peers in front of teachers, musicians, and invited guests, continuing our commitment to creating spaces where young artists feel both challenged and supported.

We are honored to collaborate once again with The Phoenix Symphony, a longtime partner of SOUNDS Academy. Valerie from The Phoenix Symphony shared, “We’re looking forward to welcoming SOUNDS Academy as we celebrate American composers on Saturday, the 28th. We’ve had a long relationship with SOUNDS Academy and have seen and heard the talented musicians who come through the program. It’s a joy to hear all the musicians work together in the masterclass. I’m proud of this partnership—it’s an example of how community partners help build a stronger community.” These words reflect the heart of this collaboration and the shared belief in the power of music education!

This Masterclass will feature professional musicians Michael Robinson, Tessa Gotman Bock, and Noah Dugan, who will guide students through an inspiring and educational experience. Families and supporters are encouraged to attend and witness the growth of our young musicians firsthand.
