Teaching Artist (Piano/Voice)
Tiffany O’Neill is trained in classical bel canto style and Hawaiian music. They hold an MM in choral conducting from Arizona State University and also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hawaiian Music from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
Tiffany has worn many hats, including teaching undergraduate choral conducting, directing a tenor bass ensemble, a hula clinician for the 2023 Hawaii Aloha State Festival, working as a research assistant with the Kealakai Center of Pacific Strings, assistant conductor of the University of Hawaii’s community chorus, an intern with the Hawai’i Youth Opera Chorus, and many more organizations. Tiffany has also worked with a Hawaiian music immersion program, Mana Mele, where they taught 4th through 11th graders Hawaiian music and history. They have also performed in many operas, from La Boheme to Mikado, in the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall from ages seven through twenty-two. They have participated in several choirs at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and ASU. When they are not working, they enjoy quiet nights with their dog, Boo, and their cat, Joey.
