Teaching Aide (Guitar)
Steve has been a practicing attorney for over 40 years and is excited to join the staff of SOUNDS Academy and to further its mission with his passion for music and working with children. Steve has had a lifetime love of music that began by listening to the records of his older sisters, which included folk and Motown to the first wave of classic rock. Steve began to play guitar later in life by lessons purchased as a present from his wife. His passion for music was re-ignited by those first guitar lessons. Steve has progressed from private lessons to playing and performing with several groups of other music students, focusing mainly on rock, blues, and folk. Steve’s legal career has involved the training and mentoring of several young attorneys. Steve plans to use his passion for music and his drive to mentor and teach to help students learn, understand, and appreciate music and the incredible flexibility and benefits of the guitar.
