Teaching Artist (Piano)
Mikayah is a pianist and music educator born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona who is passionate about and dedicated to facilitating and supporting music education. Mikayah holds a Bachelors in Biology from Grand Canyon University and is currently working toward her Masters in Theology. Having grown up as 1 of 8 children in a musical family, she was raised surrounded by music and has played the piano for most of her life. She loves sharing her love for the piano with youth through music education and exploration. She strives to encourage students toward a deeper engagement with music and seeks to help students grow in technique and creativity through a supportive and engaging teaching style.
