Teaching Artist (Strings)
Rebekah Hillis, from Mesa, Arizona teaches 5-8th grade orchestra in the Tempe Elementary School District. She completed a double major with a Bachelors of Music Education and Music Performance. Her undergraduate competitions include NAU’s Concerto Competition Runner Up, and KMEA’s concerto competition winner with Lalo’s Symphonie Espanol. Rebekah has participated in the American Indian Musicians Scholarship (AIMS) masterclass with world-famous violinist, Ray Chen. She currently plays for Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Verde Valley Sinfonietta, Chandler Symphony and the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra.
